During their recent monthly gathering, the Exchange Club of Brunswick united members to review ongoing projects and chart the course for future endeavors. One of the club’s longstanding and beloved traditions is the “mystery person” segment. During this engaging activity, Jim Royal selects a member to share their personal story with the group, which helps build camaraderie and encourages meaningful connections among members. Once a member has shared their personal story, they pass the spotlight to someone else, allowing the tradition to continue and giving each participant a chance to engage and build meaningful connections. In July, Chelsea Hill embraced the opportunity to share their personal story, enriching the club’s tradition with a fresh viewpoint. As an active member of the Brunswick housing authority, Chelsea has contributed to the Exchange Club for two years and currently serves on the board of directors. Their participation enriches the club’s ongoing story and underscores the variety of experiences that bring our community closer together. Following their heartfelt account, they chose Beck McGee as the next participant to carry forward this cherished tradition. Beck, who works as a loan officer at Marshland Credit Union, has been actively involved with the club for more than a year, contributing their energy and insight to each meeting. This selection ensures the spirit of camaraderie and storytelling remains vibrant, as each member gets the opportunity to share their unique perspective and experiences with the group.
