Exchange Club of Brunswick Celebrates 2026 2027 Student of the Month Honorees
A strong senior year deserves more than a quiet nod. The Exchange Club of Brunswick has launched its 2026-2027 Student of the Month program, giving local educators a meaningful way to recognize seniors who stand out at two of Glynn County’s high schools.
Each month, teachers at Brunswick High School and Glynn Academy select one senior student for the honor. The program highlights students during a key year in their lives, when they are preparing for graduation, future study, work, service, and the next stage of adulthood.
The first honorees of the 2026-2027 program have already been named, with students recognized for August, September, and October.
The Student of the Month program puts local seniors in the spotlight
The Exchange Club of Brunswick’s Student of the Month program is built around a simple idea: recognize students while their teachers, classmates, families, and community can celebrate their efforts.
Senior year often comes with a full schedule. Students balance advanced coursework, activities, college or career planning, part-time jobs, family responsibilities, and service commitments. Public recognition gives the community a chance to pause and say that student effort matters.
This program also gives teachers a direct voice in the process. Because teachers see students in the classroom day after day, they are in a strong position to notice consistency, character, curiosity, leadership, and growth. Their selections reflect the many ways a senior can make a positive mark.
