Mr. Ben Slade Interim director of the Saint Simons Island land trust spoke to the Exchange club of Brunswick. Mr. Slade told the club about the land trust. He said the mission is to preserve our island's natural and scenic character and to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. The SSLT was founded in 2000, by a group of residents concerned about the rapid increase in high-density development and congestion on the island.
