Rodeo at the Beach 2026 mechanical bull competition winner

During the Exchange Club of Brunswick's weekly luncheon, members gathered to celebrate and recognize the winners of the Stambaugh Aviation mechanical bull riding competition. The event created an energetic and festive environment, offering a wonderful chance to recognize individuals who demonstrated outstanding skill and enthusiasm in this vibrant competition. Each year, the Annual Rodeo at the Beach brings together Glynn County schools for a lively and engaging competition. This event not only encourages camaraderie but also sparks friendly rivalry among the participants. The competition is organized into three divisions—elementary, middle, and high schools—giving students across different age groups the opportunity to display their energy and collaborative spirit in a lively setting. Teachers and administrators also join as co-contestants, adding an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie. Winning teams are awarded a sizable trophy and a $500 check for their school, while individual champions receive cash prizes: $150 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third. By offering both recognition and tangible rewards, this structure fosters a spirit of friendly competition while also celebrating exceptional achievement and collaborative effort among participants. This year, the honors went to Grace Coty from Goodyear Elementary School, Joshua Schmitt representing Jane Macon Middle School, and Brian Saunds from Brunswick High School, each exemplifying remarkable skill and teamwork throughout the event.
