The Exchange club of Brunswick held their weekly luncheon, and our guest speaker was Mrs. Mary Lamond. Mary is the Executive Director of Habitat for humanity of Glynn County Ga. Since 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Glynn County has brought people together from all walks of life to help local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance on the foundation of a decent, affordable home. This year marks 35 years of building! We have served over 100 families and built 93 homes. Together as a community, we strive to live in a world where EVERYONE has a decent place to live. Mary told the club about Habitat and projects they have been working on.
