GA Port Manager speaks to the Exchange Club of Brunswick

The Exchange club of Brunswick recently hosted Jared Lott, General Manager of Breakbulk Operations and Brunswick Ship Operations for the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), who provided an in-depth update on the growth and progress at the Port of Brunswick.
Lott shared details on GPA’s expansion projects, emphasizing how infrastructure improvements are strengthening the port’s capacity to handle increased volumes of roll-on/roll-off (Ro/Ro) and breakbulk cargo. Current upgrades include berth enhancements and yard expansions. In his remarks, Lott highlighted the Port of Brunswick’s vital role in Georgia’s economy. As one of the nation’s busiest Ro/Ro ports, Brunswick is a leading hub for automobile and heavy equipment imports and exports.
The Exchange Club audience welcomed the update and expressed appreciation for GPA’s continued efforts to enhance economic growth and strengthen Brunswick’s role as a gateway for international trade.
Jared was accompanied by Assistant Manager of Government and Community Outreach Leslie Thomas, highlighting GPA’s commitment to operational efficiency, community involvement, and regional impact.
